Signal GH - A Diagnostic Tool for HDHomerun Users
Signal GH is a utility tool for HDHomerun users who want to improve the quality of their Over The Air (OTA) reception. The tool graphs signal quality from multiple channels simultaneously, allowing users to adjust and upgrade OTA receiving hardware like cables, connections, splitters, pre-amps, and antennas.
The Experiments tab in the app allows users to snapshot the state of their system, keeping track of what worked and what didn't work. Moreover, United States users can benefit from a map of digital television broadcasting towers. The accuracy of the map depends on the user's device compass.
However, if you don't have an HDHomerun, this product isn't for you. Signal GH does not support QAM (digital cable), and it cannot be used to watch videos on your iOS device. But, if you use an HDHomerun for over-the-air reception, you will likely find Signal GH useful. In case the automatic scan does not find a station you expect, you can tap on the station's real digital channel in the unused channel column under Settings.
